The RQF level 6 skill level
What the skill level requirement means and why it matters for eligibility.
Many Skilled Worker jobs have to be at a required skill level, often described using the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). A common benchmark is RQF level 6, which is broadly equivalent to graduate level work. The skill level is about the nature of the job, not only the applicant’s own qualifications.
Some occupations sit at different skill levels, and specific rules can apply. The published occupation lists show which jobs are eligible and at what level.
